Kanry Search in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, seeks a Facilities Officer to maintain office, warehouse and building facilities. Location is in Taman Ekoperniagaan with relocation to Kulai from November onwards and a basic salary up to RM5,000 plus a VB.
You will coordinate maintenance of M&E systems (electrical, HVAC, fire protection), monitor utilities, liaise with vendors, and support renovations to keep the site safe and well maintained.
Location: Taman Ekoperniagaan, Johor Bahru
Relocation: Will relocate to Kulai, near JPO from November onwards
Basic Salary: Up to RM5,000 + Variable Bonus (VB)
Working Days: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5:30pm
Assist in the maintenance and repair of office, warehouse and building facilities.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E systems, including electrical, HVAC and fire protection systems.
Monitor machinery, equipment and building systems and arrange servicing or repairs when required.
Manage building utilities such as electricity, internet and telecommunications.
Coordinate pest control and other facility-related services.
Support renovation, office improvement and facility upgrading projects.
Liaise with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair works.
Follow up on maintenance schedules and ensure work is completed properly and on time.
Maintain maintenance records, asset lists and service documentation.
Ensure facilities are maintained in a safe, clean and good working condition.
Prepare maintenance reports and support other facility-related tasks assigned by Management.
Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, M&E, Facilities Management, Building Management or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in facilities, M&E, building maintenance or related fields.
Fresh graduates with relevant internship or hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, fire protection and building maintenance systems.
Experience in commercial buildings, factories, malls or warehouses is an added advantage.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Able to liaise with vendors and contractors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
