Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Technical Supervisor in Kuala Lumpur to guide a team delivering cross-functional projects in engineering and facilities management. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, and stakeholder coordination to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree or diploma with 4-5 years in FM, with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge, vendor management skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Engineering Diploma / Degree with 4-5 years of job-related in facilities management.
• Strong experienced and technical knowledge in electrical & mechanical maintenance.
• Liaise with local authorities to ensure fire safety compliance and renewal of FC.
• Experience in energy management and system efficiency optimization.
• Regulatory compliance experience is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is an added advantage.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the progress of cross-functional projects or programs from end to end.
• Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.
• Ensure that the team remains on schedule; resolve escalated issues quickly.
• Manage internal and external relationships with vendors; approve contracts.
• Work with core teams to develop solutions and manage project teams throughout delivery.
• Create, maintain, and distribute routine reports to management and clients.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values in team discussions.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies; explain difficult information.
