Job summary

The role requires an engineering degree and 4–5 years of relevant experience, with willingness to travel within Klang Valley and prior supervisory background.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel within Klang Valley.
• Prior supervisory experience and team leadership.
• Must meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs+).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Ensure facility and building systems comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program and optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Adhere to safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Review inspections of building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation meets design specs.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge; lead by example within the function.
• Contribute to a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within the team and related groups.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies and explain difficult or sensitive information.
