Job summary

Acetalent Group is seeking a maintenance technician in Pasir Gudang, Johor to perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs in a factory setting.

The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and vendors to keep facilities running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safe facility operation.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, fume scrubber, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain building infrastructure: ventilation, power supply, water pumping, cooling towers, HVAC.
• Respond to work orders promptly and document actions taken.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with colleagues, contractors, and vendors.

• 1. Conducting regular inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and addressing repairs in a timely manner to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment within the facility.
• 2. Diagnose and repair issues with building systems and equipment, including HVAC, fume scrubber, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• 3. The key major to keep maintain good condition of building infrastructure such as :
  • Ventilation of building
  • Fume scrubber system
  • Electricity power supply
  • City water pumping system
  • Air compressor system
  • Cooling tower system
  • Heat ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)
• 4. Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• 5. Work closely with other department colleagues, contractors, and vendors to coordinate maintenance activities.

Education & Qualification

• 1. Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• 2. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Experience

• 1. 2 to 5 years' working experience or equivalent qualification.
• 2. Experience in a maintenance capacity in manufacturing industry
