Job summary

SHF Services (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager (F&B) to lead daily food and beverage operations at Bandar Sunway, Selangor. You will report to the F&B Manager and oversee service delivery, quality standards, and a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will drive menu planning support with the HEAD CHEF, ensure cash handling integrity, and maintain records while collaborating across departments to maintain seamless service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in F&B management or supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of F&B operations, service standards, and restaurant management.
• Leadership and ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent customer service and guest satisfaction focus.
• Knowledge of costing, pricing, and inventory control.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Certification in Food Handling or First Aid is advantageous.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and POS software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily F&B operations, including service setup, execution, and breakdown
• Manage and supervise F&B staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across all F&B areas
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to ensure consistency with company standards
• Handle customer complaints and queries professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty
• Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and cost control measures
• Support the HEAD CHEF in menu planning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
• Ensure proper cash handling and till reconciliation procedures
• Maintain records of daily operations, incidents, and staff performance
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
