Job summary

SHF Services (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager (F&B) to lead daily food and beverage operations at Bandar Sunway, Selangor. You will report to the F&B Manager and oversee service delivery, quality standards, and a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will drive menu planning support with the HEAD CHEF, ensure cash handling integrity, and maintain records while collaborating across departments to maintain seamless service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in F&B management or supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of F&B operations, service standards, and restaurant management.
• Leadership and ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent customer service and guest satisfaction focus.
• Knowledge of costing, pricing, and inventory control.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Certification in Food Handling or First Aid is advantageous.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and POS software.

Responsibilities

What we’re looking for

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food and beverage management or a similar supervisory role in the hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of F&B operations, including service standards, food safety, and restaurant management

Proven leadership and team management experience with the ability to motivate and develop staff

Excellent customer service skills and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction

Sound knowledge of food and beverage costing, pricing, and inventory control

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required

Certification in Food Handling, First Aid, or relevant hospitality qualifications is advantageous

Proficiency in basic computer systems and POS (Point of Sale) software

Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
