Job summary

SITC Container Lines Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented logistics assistant in Klang or Penang to process export bookings, handle inquiries, and coordinate with Sales, equipment teams, branches, and HQ.

You will prepare vessel reports, monitor operations, update systems, and support E-Booking/E-Shipping coordination. Fresh graduates are welcome; degree in any field is acceptable. Proficiency in BM and English is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Based in Klang and Penang.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin an advantage.
• Meticulous with strong planning and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Process export bookings, amendments, cancellations, and confirmations.
• Handle customer enquiries on schedules, space, charges, and shipment requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, Sales, Equipment, branches, and HQ on space and equipment allocation.
• Manage DG, flexibag, special equipment, and special cargo applications.
• Prepare vessel reports, forecasts, notices, and rate applications.
• Monitor shipment operations, transhipment, and post-departure matters.
• Update booking and vessel information in the system.
• Support E-Booking and E-Shipping Instruction coordination with HQ IT and customers.
