Job summary

Joo Lee Import & Export Co. in Rawang, Selangor is seeking an entry to mid-level Logistics/Export Documentation assistant. You will assist in preparing export and shipping documents, maintain shipment records, and coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and production teams to arrange shipments.

The role requires Diploma or Degree in Logistics or related fields, with fresh graduates welcome. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mandarin communication is a plus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and compiling export and shipping documents (e.g. commercial invoices, packing lists, customs documentation).
• Maintain accurate and complete shipment records to support the Export & Shipping team.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as logistics, warehouse, and production for shipment arrangements.
• Ensure packaging and labelling comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Track shipment progress and follow up on delivery status to ensure timely arrival.
• Assist in applying and submitting export-related permits, licenses, and tax exemption documents.
• Liaise with government authorities during export inspections when required.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, courier services, and logistics providers for delivery coordination.
• Ensure proper, timely filing and documentation of all shipping records.
• Respond to customer inquiries or complaints professionally and provide timely follow-up.
• Manage customer platforms/systems to confirm orders, update shipment status, and upload required documents.
• Participate in training and on-the-job learning to develop knowledge in export procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or department head.
