Job summary

Power Steel & Electro-Plating Works Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam invites an experienced logistics coordinator to manage end-to-end import and export operations for international and domestic shipments, coordinating with Sales Admin, Customer Service, Production, QA and Warehouse teams.

You will liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and Customs; prepare documentation; monitor schedules; and ensure compliance with QMS and company procedures, with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import/export operations for international and domestic shipments
• Coordinate export shipments to Thailand, China, India, UK, Singapore, Indonesia and domestic distribution
• Liaise with Sales Admin, Customer Service, Production, QA & Warehouse teams regarding shipment plans and requirements
• Coordinate shipment and delivery arrangements with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and Customs
• Prepare and verify import/export documentation from stock picking through billing and container loading
• Monitor production completion dates and ensure shipment schedules align with customer and market requirements
• Prepare and coordinate SST/MIDA duty exemption applications and relevant customs documentation
• Negotiate with logistics service providers to optimize costs
• Monitor duty exemption records and prepare documentation for Customs
• Support audits and ensure activities comply with company procedures and QMS requirements
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Job description

Manage and coordinate end-to-end import and export operations for both international and domestic shipments.

Coordinate export shipments to Thailand, China, India, UK, Singapore, Indonesia as well as domestic distribution.

Coordinate shipment and delivery arrangements with Sales Admin, Customer Service, Production, QA & Warehouse Team.

Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and Customs for vessel booking, shipment arrangements, customs clearance and shipping documentation.

Prepare and verify import/export documentation from stock picking through to billing and container loading.

Follow up on production completion dates and ensure shipment schedules are aligned with customer and market requirements.

Prepare and coordinate SST/MIDA duty exemption applications, Form D and other relevant customs documentation.

Negotiate with logistics service providers, including freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters, to optimize logistics costs.

Monitor duty exemption records and prepare relevant documentation for submission to Customs.

Support internal and external audits and ensure import/export activities comply with company procedures and Quality Management System requirements.

Perform other ad-hoc duties and assignments as assigned by the superior.
