Job summary

Biszon Flexipack Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is seeking a logistics coordinator to streamline daily shipment arrangements, coordinate with the operations team, and prepare documentation for the business department. The role requires monitoring in-transit goods, handling transportation exceptions promptly, obtaining freight quotations, and updating ERP data to ensure compliant and accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with operations department to handle daily shipment arrangements and prepare related documents for the business department.
• Monitor transportation status of in-transit goods and assist in handling transportation exceptions promptly.
• Communicate with freight forwarders for logistics quotations and assist in optimizing logistics costs.
• Update logistics order data in the ERP system to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
• Coordinate with local suppliers and GN own factories on arrangement of local deliveries.
• Attend to freight quotation enquiry, source for competitive freight rates.
• Ensure all stock movements are updated promptly and accurately for month-end accounts and stock control.
• Assist with other duties assigned by Head of Department.

Job description

Continuously monitor the transportation status of in-transit goods and assist in handling any transportation exceptions in a timely manner.

Communicate with freight forwarders for logistics quotations and assist the department supervisor in optimizing logistics costs.

Timely update logistics order data in the ERP system to ensure compliance and proper documentation of all logistics processes.

Coordinate with local suppliers and GN own factories on arrangement of local deliveries

Attend to freight quotation enquiry, source for competitive freight rates

Continuously monitor the transportation status of in-transit goods and assist in handling any transportation exceptions in a timely manner.

To ensure all stocks movements are update promptly and accurately for easy month end accounts formulation and stock control.

Other relevant duties assigned by Head of Department

Working Hour: -

Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 5.30pm

Saturday (Alternate): 8.00am to 12.30pm
