Job summary

Biszon Flexipack Sdn Bhd, based in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a hands-on production professional to oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensure quality output and optimize yield on the production floor.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, problem solving with QA and operations, implementation of 5S and ISO 9001 / FSSC 22000 requirements, and training line leaders to meet targets while maintaining safety and environmental practices.

Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for day-to-day production and shift activities, monitoring and controlling of production to achieved good quality output and yield.
• 2. Carry out improvement activity for higher target, improve production yield with low rejects and troubleshoots and study the productions problems.
• 3. Identify all the rejects and prepared the corrective and preventive actions plan.
• 4. Take any necessary measurement to analyze and solve production problems and follow up on the issue that arises by production and quality dept.
• 5. Verification and authorization of the entire production controls documents to optimize process yield percentage.
• 6. Implementing Quality policy, 5S housekeeping, safety and goods environmental practices.
• 7. Assist to schedule on job training for Line Leader, Supervisor and Executive and educate them to meet the production yield and meet quality requirement. 8. To verify the rejection rate, make remark and analysis before scraping and counter measure to minimize the rejections.
• 9. Controls the standard procedure in the area of the Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 & FSSC 22000 in the entire task performed inside the production.
• 10. Supporting the quality department in investigating the root cause & counter measures concerning the quality issue.
• 11. Identify and design the process control plan, FMEA (Failure modes effects analysis) and PPAP (Production part approval process).
• 12. Ensure continuous improvement of production process.
• 13. Working closely with Operation & QA Dept to monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of production floor.
• 14. Making observation and take measurements directly as well as collecting and interpreting data from the other technical and operating staff involved.
• 15. Develop innovative/creative ideas and alternatives to be cost competitive with proposals (without compromise quality).
