Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Automotive Engineering.
• More than 5 years in the automotive field.
• Experience managing workshop staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage fleet service, repairs and maintenance, focusing on frontline operations.
• Schedule work, plan manpower and optimize workshop capacity.
• Monitor service time compliance and daily shop KPIs.
• Improve customer satisfaction and handle customer complaints.
• Train staff and liaise between management and shop floor.

Job description

Responsible for overall service, repairs and maintenance of fleet, focusing on frontline operations.

Managing operations, including:

Effectively manages team members to ensure objectives & goals are being carried out

Work scheduling and manpower planning, optimizing workshop capacity

Track service time compliance and shop floor KPIs on a daily basis & deliver as promised

Assist in action plan addressing issues on operations

Assist in monitoring overall facilities & updating records as required

Implement policies & procedures in accordance with company policies & procedures

To assist in managing fleet at the most cost-effective level and ensure financial objectives are met as per guidelines/budget set by the company.

Enhancing customer satisfaction by fulfilling customer needs, establishing good customer relations, and managing customer complaints.

To plan staff training and continue to upgrade their skills & knowledge.

To support all levels in operation and provide linkage between management and staff.

To perform any other duties as specified by the Service Head.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Automotive Engineering

Experience in managing workshop staff & customers

Preferably an executive managing a department with a team of 6 or more subordinates

More than 5 years of experience in the automotive field

Must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Valid driving license
