Job summary

A leading company in the security sector is seeking a Security Manager in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the security industry and be proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English. Responsibilities include monitoring security operations, managing security systems, and conducting training for security personnel. A valid driving license is required, and relevant tertiary education is a must for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Manage daily security operations at all plants.
• Conduct reviews on security policies and procedures.
• Brief security personnel and cooperate with government agencies.
• Identify and develop crisis management plans.

Job description

• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and possess basic proficiency in English
• Any relevant tertiary level education is required
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Security industry

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure all plant operation and security management are consistent with Company security policies and procedures;
• Monitor daily security operation at all plants;
• Manage security systems such as CCTV, Guard Tour and Biometrics;
• Conduct periodic reviews on security policies, procedures and mitigation solutions;
• Handle ad hoc relevant tasks given by security or other departments;
• Conduct security briefing for all security personnel and to other employees as and when needed;
• Constant monitoring to ensure proper filing of security records and documents;
• Assist in cooperation with third parties such as PDRM, BOMBA and any government agencies;
• Identify, develop and maintain crisis or incident management i.e. Emergency Response, Building Evacuation
