Job summary

Suzuki Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to oversee the Quality Management System and maintain quality manuals and procedures. The role requires strong problem-solving, teamwork and good English communication, with a focus on documentation and process improvement.

Responsibilities include audits, KPI reporting, and supporting Six-Sigma and error-proofing initiatives while ensuring compliance with QA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Quality Assurance or related field.
• Experience in automotive industry is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of QA activities and ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
• Strong knowledge of quality manufacturing processes, material and quality control protocols.
• Good problem solving and communication skill.
• Good documentation and able working with others.
• Good spoken and written in English, work with Excel/PPT.
• Excellent math, creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to learn attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the company, including any business endorsements.
• Maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for business.
• Analyses current and future procedure needs of the business.
• Organize and manage the plant internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system.
• Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors.
• Host external Quality System audits.
• Coordinate the review of Quality procedures associated with plant continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain the Standard Operating Procedure content and coordinate the issuing of these documents.
• Collate quality data for monitoring targets.
• Assist with training of quality awareness.
• Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to keep the process and prevent occurrence of any nonconformity relating to product, process or system.
• Support and monitor the continuous improvement activities such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis.
• Quality control of work by appropriate reviews.
• Undertake continuous training and development.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
• Independently determine approach and assigned tasks.
• Manufacturing Process Audit.
• Product Audit.
• 3 points verification audits.
