Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Engineer QA to support the Quality Department in maintaining product quality standards and executing test plans. The role ensures compliance with quality policies, procedures, and customer requirements.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Quality Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) and 1–2 years of experience, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply. Full-time position based in Gelang Patah, Johor, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing QA procedures and standards, updating quality work instructions, and ensuring ISO compliance.
• Conduct verification and testing of incoming materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure product compliance.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments on quality issues and support internal and external audits.
• Support continuous improvement projects by identifying quality issues and assisting in corrective actions.
• Monitor and record customer feedback and FARs, assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.

The Assistant Engineer QA supports the Quality Department team in maintaining product quality standards, executing test plans, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives. This role ensures compliance with quality policies, procedures, and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Quality Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
• Minimum at least 1-2 years of working experience in the related fields
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing QA procedures and standards, updating quality work instructions, and ensuring compliance with ISO and internal quality systems.
• Conduct verification and testing of incoming materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments on quality issues and support both internal and external audits.
• Support continuous improvement projects by identifying quality issues and assisting in the implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitor and record customer feedback and Field Analysis Reports (FAR), and assist in root cause analysis and immediate corrective actions for non-conformances.
