Job summary

Terberg Manufacturing & Assembly Sdn Bhd is seeking a Procurement Executive in Malaysia to manage supplier relationships, ensure on-time material delivery, and optimize purchasing processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering and 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, with cross-functional collaboration to improve inventory controls and compliance with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop early material incoming with local suppliers for meeting operation plan.
• Evaluate and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and timely delivery.
• Evaluate supply vs demand weekly to manage inventory for local suppliers.
• Propose procurement process improvements to management.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with ISO standards, policies, and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-departments to ensure on-time receiving and address quality issues.

Assurance of Supply: Develop early material incoming with local suppliers for meeting operation plan.

Vendor Management:Evaluating and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and timely delivery.

Inventory Controls:Evaluating supply vs demand weekly to manage inventory at optimal level for local suppliers.

Process Improvement:Propose procurement process improvements to management.

Regulatory Compliance:Ensuring all procurement activities comply with ISO standards, procurement policies, company standards, and legal requirements.

Operation Effectiveness:Collaborate with cross-departments to manage on-time receiving, rectify quality issues and engineering change.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Engineering or equivalent studies.

Preferably 2 - 3 years relevant working experience in within a manufacturing environment.
