Job summary

Megaforce Sdn Bhd is seeking a Procurement Executive to manage purchasing activities for materials, packaging, subcontracting services, and equipment repairs, aligning with production schedules and inventory levels.

The role requires sourcing and evaluating suppliers, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with production, planning, quality, and logistics to ensure timely supply and reduce discrepancies. Strong communication, analytical skills, and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Certificate, Diploma or Degree.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Possess good communication skills, analytical skill and details oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for materials, packaging, subcontracting services and equipment repairs.
• Plan and coordinate procurement according to production schedules and inventory levels.
• Source, evaluate, and maintain suppliers based on cost, quality, capacity and performance.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, delivery docs and procurement reports.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure timely material supply and resolve supplier issues

Job description

Manage purchasing activities for materials, packaging, subcontracting services, equipment repairs, mold repairs, and miscellaneous items.

Plan and coordinate procurement activities according to production schedules, inventory levels, and business requirements.

Source, evaluate, and maintain suppliers and subcontractors based on cost, quality, capacity, lead time, and performance.

Prepare and process purchase orders, delivery documentation, and other procurement-related documents.

Monitor supplier and subcontractor delivery, quality, production progress, and overall performance.

Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, and other relevant departments to ensure timely material supply and delivery.

Follow up on and resolve supplier and subcontractor issues, including quality, quantity, delivery, and production-related discrepancies.

Review quotations, conduct price comparisons, and support cost negotiations and procurement cost improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, inventory-related data, and supporting documentation.

Participate in and support mid-year and annual inventory count activities, including stock verification, reconciliation, and follow-up on discrepancies.

Coordinate procurement-related import and export activities, including relevant documentation and customs clearance when required.

Prepare procurement and supplier/subcontractor performance reports and supporting documents for audits.

Assist in training new employees and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.

Requirements
