Job summary

INOKOM is seeking a logistics professional at its Kulim, Kedah facility to optimize the physical logistics system across the supply chain while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and cost. You will work with departmental heads and support internal and external interactions to ensure smooth operations.

Role includes leading logistics for new model launches, implementing 4M requirements, and driving quality system audits (ISO 9002, OHSAS 18001, ISO14001) with Kaizen participation.

Responsibilities

• Study and improve Physical Logistics System throughout the supply chain (incoming to supply) in terms Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment.
• Lead Logistics operations for new model launch: a. Identify logistics activities and time lime prior to the launch. b. Implement 4M requirements.
• Lead Logistics in Quality System Implementation & Audits (ISO 9002- QMS, GCAD -Environmental Audit by Sime Darby Group Corporate Assurance, OHSAS 18001 –Safety & Health, ISO14001 –Environment & MPC -5S Certification.
• Lead one of the 5S group in logistics to deliver the Internal Monthly Audit and Kaizen requirements.

Job description

Report directly to Assistant Manager and work with other departments if there is a need arises.

Demonstrate good communication skill to work with various different departmental heads and customer.

Involve in internal and external interaction; in which has impact on BMW SQDCME (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment).

To execute the General Duties of Employer under part IV Section 15 of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA 1994) and Environmental Quality Act (EQA 1974)

1. Study and improve Physical Logistics System throughout the supply chain (incoming to supply) in terms Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment.
2. Lead Logistics operations for new model launch: a. Identify logistics activities and time lime prior to the launch. b. Implement 4M requirements.
3. Lead Logistics in Quality System Implementation & Audits (ISO 9002- QMS, GCAD -Environmental Audit by Sime Darby Group Corporate Assurance, OHSAS 18001 –Safety & Health, ISO14001 –Environment & MPC -5S Certification.
4. Lead one of the 5S group in logistics to deliver the Internal Monthly Audit and Kaizen requirements.
