Job summary

Malayan Flour Mills in Malaysia is seeking an Executive, Operation Support (Supply Chain) for the night shift to manage last mile deliveries and related documentation, coordinating with 3rd party logistics to meet on-time in full goals.

You will ensure OTIF, optimize transport costs, track POD returns, and drive continuous improvements in processes while liaising with drivers and cross-dock teams. Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain or related field preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate data on last mile logistic operations.
• Liaise with logistic partner to arrange transportation modes according to requirements.
• Coordinate with transportation providers for timely arrival and departure as scheduled.
• Deliver the product On Time in Full (OTIF) at correct destination.
• Consolidate shipments to maximize truck utilization and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure transportation planning and execution is effective and efficient to optimize cost and timeliness.
• Ensure POD return is updated in the system on a timely basis.
• Escalate issues to higher management when needed.
• Ensure crate and pallet management SOP adhered to by drivers and cross-dock facility teams; reconcile records.
• Update crate movement records in MTech system and conduct crate counts.
• Process weight loss documentation for credit/debit notes.
• Pursue continuous improvements in procedures, methods, and resources.
• Validate logistics invoices from 3rd party logisitics for payment.

Executive, Operation Support (Supply Chain) - Night Shift

To manage and follow up daily last mile deliveries status and documentation, including liaise with 3rd party logistic partners to attain the highest result on time delivery in full, efficient utilization with minimum cost and resources available and delivery efficiency, keep track of POD return, and weight loss/gain documentation processing. To ensure all logistics KPI's are met and take immediate corrective action whenever needed.

Job Accountabilities:

Provide timely and accurate data on last mile logistic operations such as transportation movement for effective planning.

liaise with logistic partner to arrange for the right mode of transportation according to requirements.

plan to coordinate with transportations providers for timely arrival and departure according to scheduled time.

Ensure to deliver the product On Time in Full (OTIF) at correct destination, as per customer's requirements.

Consolidate shipment to various customer when necessary to ensure truck is fully utilized for cost effectiveness.

Ensure transportation planning and execution is effective and efficient to optimize cost and timeliness of deliveries.

Ensure the Proof of Delivery (POD) return on time and update in the system on timely manner.

closely follow up and discrepancies during the delivery and take immediate corrective action. Escalate to higher management if any support needed.

Ensure the crate and pallet management SOP adhere by 3rd party truck drivers and cross-dock facility team, reconcile and verify transaction records.

Ensure the crate movement records are updated in MTech system on timely manner. Review crate movement record to keep track of balance of the crates at customer premises and conduct regular crate count.

Process weight loss documentation to ensure credit note and debit note issue on time.

To continuously review and monitor the operation processes to find continuous improvements on procedures, method, effectiveness and resource utilization.

Validate all logistics invoices from 3rd party logistic for payment processing,
