Job summary

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or ACCA/CPA required.
• 0–2 years of work experience.
• Good computer literacy – with Microsoft Office.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight reporting timelines.
• Detail-oriented with strong sense of urgency and accountability.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling full set of accounts for major company, including month-end closing.
• Independently prepare full set of accounts for smaller/dormant entities in line with standards.
• Ensure timely month-end/year-end closings and accurate group reporting timelines.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in management reporting, variance analysis, and financial performance explanations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Assist in audit, tax, and statutory reporting matters.
• Ensure compliance with e-Invoicing and internal controls.

Job description

Responsible for supporting the management accounting function, including assisting in the preparation of accounts for a major company under supervision, while independently handling full set of accounts for smaller or dormant entities. This role involves preparation of management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting support, and analysis to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission in accordance with group requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist senior in handling full set of accounts for assigned major company, including month-end and year-end closing activities
• Independently prepare full set of accounts for smaller and/or dormant entities in accordance with approved accounting standards and group policies
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing in line with group reporting timelines
• Maintain proper accounting records and ensure completeness and accuracy of supporting documentation
• Support preparation of management reports, including variance analysis and explanation of financial performance
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring activities
• Assist in audit, tax, and other statutory reporting matters
• Ensure compliance with e-Invoicing requirements, company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties (e.g., auditors) when required
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s Degree of Accounting or ACCA/CPA or equivalent
• 0–2 years work experience
• Good computer literacy – familiar with Microsoft application (e.g: Microsoft Excel / powerpoint/word)
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight reporting timelines
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Have commendable working attitude and interpersonal skills and able to work as an excellent team player.
