Job summary

Paradigm Mall JB is seeking an experienced Executive - Maintenance to oversee the smooth operation of all mechanical and electrical systems within the mall, ensuring safety, energy efficiency, and tenant comfort. The role includes supervising in-house technicians, coordinating preventive maintenance, and liaising with vendors while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sustainability goals.

Strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, with 3–5 years in a similar role

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or facility management.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and AMC handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, elevators and escalators.
• Ensure equipment is functioning through inspections and repairs.
• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Supervise in-house technicians and assign daily tasks.
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers; monitor contracts.
• Monitor energy use and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure health, safety and fire compliance; conduct safety checks.
• Maintain maintenance logs and prepare reports for management.
• Support sustainability initiatives and green practices.
