Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks a Loan Processing Associate to support the Auto Loan Centre. You will handle loan processing, data entry, KYC via phone, documentation, and customer inquiries to ensure timely credit decisions.

You will work under the Centre Manager, review applications, escalate non-processable cases, and maintain records in accordance with bank guidelines while delivering quality service to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum tertiary education or equivalent certificates qualification
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, customer-oriented and able to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, under short time constraints and within established deadlines
• Minimum 40 WPM typing speed with high accuracy
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information

Responsibilities

• Loan processing, data entry, case mitigation and customer service in Auto Loan Centre
• Assist the Centre Manager to oversee daily operations
• Review loan applications and reject unqualified cases
• Verify and process loan applications for credit approval
• Perform thorough KYC via phone interview with loan applicants
• Follow-up with customers on pending documents
• Scan and upload documents to LOAD$ system
• Assist in pricing deviation and escalate processable cases to management
• Mentor and guide new/junior staff
• Maintain office equipment and data accuracy according to bank guidelines
