Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a Loan Officer to drive auto loan acquisitions, ensuring compliant documentation and thorough KYC. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with car dealers and customers.

You will manage data entry in LOAD$, conduct CTOS checks, and update dealers daily on case status. Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year in banking or auto industries are welcome, with a focus on delivering excellent service and meeting targets

Qualifications

• Citizen of Malaysia.
• Minimum SPM/O Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/A Level/Pre-U, Diploma, or equivalent.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Strong selling and negotiation skills and ability to build dealer relationships.
• Own transport and willingness to travel to dealer sites as needed.
• Fresh graduates or those with up to 1 year Banking/Auto industry experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales targets by securing new quality loans in line with product portfolio decisions.
• Maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure loan documents from dealers/customers comply with guidelines.
• Authenticate identification, income and vehicle documents.
• Conduct KYC and interview applicants for loan applications.
• Enter data into LOAD$ system accurately and timely.
• Provide updates to dealers on case status daily.
• Prepare proposals and conduct site visits when required.
