Job summary

Scicom MSC Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Intermediate Engineer to manage desktop support coordination, documentation, and tracking tasks. The role serves as a bridge between teams, handling English-language correspondence and using enterprise collaboration tools to keep daily operations on track.

You will document workflows, coordinate with stakeholders, and support basic software testing as needed.

Job description

The Position: This role requires a detail-oriented and responsible professional to manage desktop support coordination, documentation, and tracking tasks. The Intermediate Engineer will act as a communication bridge between various roles, handling English-language correspondence and utilizing enterprise collaboration tools to ensure smooth daily operations and project tracking.

The Responsibilities of the Role:

• Patiently execute and manage detailed tracking, recording, and documentation workflows.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with various stakeholders, aligning different roles and technical teams.
• Handle English-language communications, including writing emails, preparing documents, and participating in cross-regional meetings.
• Leverage enterprise office suites and collaboration platforms (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Confluence, Teams) to maintain operational efficiency.
• Provide project assistance and potentially support basic software testing initiatives.

The Requirement for the Role:

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Solid, careful, and highly responsible work ethic, with the patience to handle tedious tracking and recording tasks.
• Strong communication skills and adeptness at coordinating with people in different roles.
• Solid English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) with the ability to handle English emails, meetings, and technical documents smoothly.
• Proficiency in MS Office and enterprise collaboration software (including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Confluence, Teams, etc.).
• Fluent in Chinese & English (Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing) for daily communication and documentation.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience working as a project assistant or in software testing is highly preferred.
