Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Malaysia is seeking an Industrial Projects Executive to support high-priority shipments from USJ, Selangor. You will deliver top-tier customer service, track shipment progress, and coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years in Freight Forwarding, with strong English communication and stakeholder liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full suite of customer service offerings to Key Account customers, including bookings and enquiries.
• Prepare written correspondence for customers and for complaint resolution.
• Proactively inform customers on shipment delays and potential service failures.
• Open job in CW1 and comply with CW1 SOP including data entry and data quality.
• Coordinate with approved vendor/carrier for booking and trucking of shipments.
• Coordinate with Inter-Department Trucking/Operation/Customs/Carrier Management & Business Development/Billing/Finance.
• Coordinate day-to-day enquiries and shipment activities and reporting.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Industrial Projects Executive with a strong background in the freight forwarding industry. In this role, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional customer service, overseeing the execution and coordination of complex shipments, and ensuring seamless operational performance. You'll work closely with customers and stakeholders to monitor shipment progress, proactively resolve issues, and consistently achieve service excellence in line with established KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the full suite of customer service offerings (including bookings, enquiries, supply requests) to Key Account customers in addition to customised contracted services (eg Reporting etc)
• Prepare written correspondence to customers when required to furnish information requested by customers or in dealing with complaint resolution.
• Proactively inform customers on shipment delays and potential service failures.
• Open job in CW1 and comply all CW1 SOP process including all data entry and data quality.
• Work closely with approved vendor or carrier for booking and trucking of shipment arrangement.
• Co-ordinate with Inter-Department Trucking/Operation/Custom Declaration/Carrier Management & Business Development / Billing / Finance.
• Co-ordinate day to day enquiries and shipment activities and reporting.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Freight Forwarding industry, experience in Oil & Gas or Out of Gauge logistics will be an added advantage.
