Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Malaysia is seeking a customer-focused logistics professional for an on-site role in Bintulu, Sarawak. You will manage end-to-end customer service activities, coordinate shipments, and liaise with multiple teams to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries.

You will use CargoWise One to create shipment jobs, prepare quotes, and support KPI-driven service delivery while maintaining data accuracy and HSSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, transportation or business studies
• Experience: minimum 2 years in freight forwarding, logistics operations, industrial projects or customer service
• Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Good problem-solving, coordination and organizational abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment
• Experience serving Oil & Gas, Energy or Industrial sector is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end customer service activities including shipment bookings, inquiries and supply requests
• Serve as the main contact for customer operational matters with timely resolution and clear communication
• Create and manage shipment jobs in CargoWise One (CW1)
• Coordinate transportation and shipment arrangements with carriers, vendors and service providers
• Collaborate with Operations, Trucking, Carrier Management, CDZ, Business Development, Billing, Finance and partners to ensure smooth shipments
• Prepare quotations and support service delivery against customer KPIs and SLAs
• Contribute to process improvements and provide operational backup as needed
• Ensure HSSE standards and company policies are followed
