CHEC Construction (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Executive to manage end-to-end recruitment, drive workforce planning, and oversee HR operations across project sites in Malaysia. You will handle employee relations, performance management, training, and benefits while ensuring statutory compliance and timely HR reporting.
The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field, familiarity with Malaysian employment practices, and 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably in construction or
Partner with HODs and project teams on HR matters, employee relations, and workforce planning.
Manage the full recruitment cycle, including manpower requisition, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
Handle HR operations, including performance management, training, employee benefits, and HR reporting.
Coordinate annual manpower budgeting, salary review, and performance appraisal exercises.
Support employee relations and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Coordinate statutory matters, including EPF/KWSP, SOCSO/EIS, LHDN, and HRD Corp.
Support work permit applications and liaise with external agents when required.
Coordinate HR activities and provide HR support to project sites and regional offices.
Prepare HR-related documents and support internal and external ISO audits.
Undertake other HR projects and duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Good knowledge of Malaysian employment practices and statutory requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
1–2 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with exposure to HR operations.
Experience in construction, engineering, project-based, or multinational companies is an added advantage.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
