Job summary

Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad in Malaysia seeks an Executive, Group Processing, Certificate Admin & Group Processing Department to manage end-to-end operational processing for Group products, ensuring accuracy, SLA adherence, and quality service.

The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders, validating submissions, processing certificates, preparing reports, and supporting audits and process improvements to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a diploma or higher in any field.
• Experience with life insurance or takaful is preferred.
• Familiar with process flow, system development methodology, and system testing.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate new business submissions for Group products in accordance with procedures and service standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely certificate issuance.
• Ensure transactions meet SLA and TAT requirements.
• Review and verify documents for completeness and compliance.
• Maintain accurate transaction records for audit and regulatory needs.
• Process certificate servicing transactions including profile updates and end serving requests.
• Handle inquiries and liaise with stakeholders to resolve processing issues.
• Support reconciliation and exception handling to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and submit operational and management reports within timelines.
• Support data extraction, validation, and report preparation for business and regulatory purposes.

Job description

Executive, Group Processing, Certificate Admin & Group Processing Department

To manage and support the end-to-end operational processing and servicing activities for Group products, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and within established service standards. The role involves stakeholder coordination, operational reporting, compliance monitoring, audit support, and participation in process and system improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process and validate new business submissions for Group products in accordance with established procedures and service standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Affinity, Distribution, Underwriting, and other relevant departments, to facilitate timely certificate issuance.
• Ensure all assigned transactions are processed within the prescribed turnaround time (TAT) and service level agreement (SLA) requirements.
• Review and verify supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and documentation to support operational integrity, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Process certificate servicing transactions, including customer profile updates, endorsement, revival, cancellation, partial withdrawal, surrender, maturity, and other related servicing requests.
• Handle operational inquiries and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve processing-related issues promptly.
• Support reconciliation and exception handling activities to ensure accuracy of certificate and customer records.
• Prepare and submit periodic operational and management reports accurately and within stipulated timelines.
• Support data extraction, validation, and report preparation for business, management, and regulatory purposes.

About you

• Must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any field.
• Life insurance background preferably with exposure to Takaful products.
• Familiar with process flow, system development methodology, and system testing.
