Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) is seeking a Graphic Designer to shape and execute the organisation’s visual identity, branding and promotional materials. You will work across digital, print, campaigns, events and corporate communications, producing creative designs that strengthen the EMGS and Study in Malaysia brands.

As a Graphic Designer at EMGS, you will play an important role in shaping and executing the organisation’s visual identity, branding and promotional materials.
You will work across digital, print, campaigns, events and corporate communications, producing creative and impactful designs and layouts that strengthen the EMGS and Study in Malaysia brands while ensuring consistency across all visual touchpoints.
You will also provide design support and coverage for the Senior Designer, particularly for day-to-day graphic design requirements when the Senior Designer is engaged in specialised projects such as 3D visualisation, exhibition booth and pavilion design, and interior branding. Candidates with 3D design or visualisation capabilities will have an added advantage, with opportunities to support the Senior Designer on selected 3D, exhibition and spatial design projects where required.
Key Responsibilities
Develop creative visual concepts and designs for digital and print platforms.
Develop key visuals, event branding, exhibition materials and promotional campaigns.
Design marketing materials including advertisements, brochures, banners, social media content, presentations and publications.
Develop creative assets for Study in Malaysia campaigns and other EMGS initiatives.
Maintain strong and consistent brand identity across all creative materials.
Provide creative and design support for Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE/KPT) initiatives, campaigns, programmes and events.
Collaborate through discussion with Marketing, Communications and other departments to translate ideas and objectives into effective visual solutions.
Edit, enhance and retouch images (including Photography images) to achieve high-quality professional outputs.
Prepare production-ready and high-resolution artwork for print, exhibitions and events, including digital displays output.
Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Coordinate with external vendors, printers and production partners when required.
Stay current with design trends, emerging creative technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Visual Arts or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in graphic design or a related creative role.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, visual communication and high-quality design execution.
Strong understanding of typography, composition, colour, branding, visual hierarchy and printing output.
Experience developing creative materials for both digital and print platforms.
Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of aesthetics.
Ability to manage projects from initial concept through to final execution.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative, proactive, adaptable and willing to explore new ideas and technologies.
