Based at our Brickfields main campus, you will lead projects, mentor designers, ensure brand consistency, and collaborate across departments on campaigns and events.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of graphic design experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, AI.
• Creative, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects.
• Team player with strong interpersonal, multitasking, and time management.
• Willing to travel when required.
• Strong design portfolio.

Responsibilities

Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL) is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Executive, Graphic Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team. You’ll create and oversee engaging visual content across digital and print platforms, delivering high-quality designs that support MCKL’s marketing initiatives. This is a great opportunity to lead creative projects, work across diverse campaigns, and grow in a fast-paced environment.

This position will be based at our main campus in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.

What you will bedoing:

• Lead and mentor junior design staff to ensure high-quality creative output and professional growth.
• Oversee the conceptualisation and production of all visual materials, including digital and print marketing collateral, presentation decks, event branding, corporate templates, and social media graphics.
• Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all visual content and conduct brand briefings for internal stakeholders when necessary.
• Develop innovative design concepts and creative solutions to support student recruitment campaigns, institutional promotions, and cross-departmental initiatives.
• Strategise, organise, and direct professional photoshoots to continually expand our internal image database or diverse visual needs.
• Support multimedia efforts such as event photography, promotional videos, and campus signage or institution-wide activities.
• Collaborate closely with the team and other departments to translate project objectives into compelling visual outcomes.
• Participate in key events, such as Open Days and external engagements, to represent and enhance the College’s visual brand.
• Assist with administrative and ad hoc tasks related to design work as required.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is:

• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Creative Multimedia, Digital Marketing, or equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, AI or other relevant design tools.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects effectively
• Team player with good interpersonal, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Willing to travel when required.
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work.
