Job summary

General Microsystems Sdn Bhd is seeking a budding graphic designer to join our creative team. You will conceptualise and adapt visuals across multiple formats in line with our brand identity.

The role requires knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, basic HTML5 and an interest in motion graphics, animation, and UI/UX design. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, and you will collaborate with a small, energetic team.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Diploma/Degree in Art/ Graphic Design/ Visual/ Creative Multimedia or equivalent with knowledge in Digital Assets Design.
• Sound knowledge on Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc).
• Knowledge of HTML5, motion graphics, animation and UI/UX design will be a plus point.

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Manager to conceptualise, design and adapt key visuals to multiple formats that align with brands' vision and identity.
• Ensure all creative visuals and adaptations are according to the brand guideline.
• Ensure timely execution and effective communications on promotions and advertisements.
• Support the Assistant Manager in ideating, planning and assisting in campaigns development and execution.
• Liaise with external vendors as required.
• Keep track of current trends/new campaign visuals in the industry and among competitors.
• Other duties assigned by the Assistant Manager from time to time.
