Job summary

Scicom (MSC) Berhad is seeking an Intermediate Engineer to manage daily operations and monitor company business systems in Kuala Lumpur. You will maintain the ELK log analysis platform and manage MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch databases, while supporting SAP systems and middleware such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.

You will work with SpringBoot applications, respond to incidents, and participate in on-call rotations. English fluency is required for daily communication and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Experience in IT operations, system monitoring, and managing strict SLA targets.
• Hands‑on operational experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch data components.
• Proficiency in maintaining and optimizing the ELK stack for log analysis and issue identification.
• Familiarity with SpringBoot applications and the ability to locate and debug issues using Java.
• Solid knowledge of middleware technologies, specifically RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotations and strong capability to resolve online incidents rapidly.
• Fluent in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing) for daily communication and documentation.
