Job summary

DKSH Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the picking department and ensure timely task completion.

You will manage daily assignments, optimize resources, and maintain high accuracy in picking and order processing while upholding safety and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or its equivalent.
• At least 2 years of supervising or similar experience.
• Excellent people and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily assignments for staff and timely completion.
• Complete picking functions and consolidate for despatch.
• Maintain 98.5% picking accuracy and 98% order accuracy.
• Maintain clean warehouse and stock integrity.
• Follow health and safety standards and report incidents.
• Maintain and use materials handling equipment.
• Record stock outs with invoices supporting documents.
• Review Outstanding DO daily and take action.
• Report losses or damages.
• Participate in stock counts and cycle counts.
• Organize daily workload to optimize resources.
• Follow daily requirements with documented actions.

About The Role

To supervise and ensure the execution of the picking department tasks are completed.

What You Will Deliver

• Ensure that all staff have assignments for the day and the undertaking of these assignments are being completed correctly and on timely basis
• Complete all the picking functions and ensure that the products are consolidated at despatch in a manner that will enable accurate loadings
• To ensure picking accuracy at 98.5% and order accuracy of 98%.
• To ensure a clean and tidy warehouse and maintain integrity of stocks and pick locations
• Comply with accepted occupational health and safety standards and reporting of incidents in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all Materials Handling Equipment is maintained and used in a company accepted manner
• Ensure all stock out situations are captured and recorded. This must be in conjunction with relevant documents to support invoices
• To check daily the “Outstanding DO” report and take appropriate action as needed.
• Report any losses or damages within the warehouse on products or assets
• To part-take in company stock counts and cycle count processes, and also aid in the preparation of said activities
• Organise daily work load to optimize resources.
• Follow up all daily requirements as laid out by Operations Management, with documented actions and work towards a daily completion of all orders.

What You Bring

• Bachelor degree or its equivalent
• At least 2 years working experience in similar capacity
• Excellent people and communication skills
• Strong organizational skill
• Computer literate, with the capability to use systems for information access and report functions.
• Experienced in MS Office applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Inventory controls and knowledge on impacts of inaccurate pick face. Able to ensure integrity of stocks is maintained and administered.
• Total quality of all operational duties to ensure accurate order picks and product receipts
• Profit drivers of warehouse activities and how best to utilized available resources
