Job summary

DKSH in Malaysia (Sarawak) seeks a Logistics Operations Assistant to support daily activities across functions and ensure timely completion of tasks. You will assist the head of department, monitor inventory performance, and address stock issues with the store team, while adhering to safety rules and documenting processes.

The role requires a Diploma in Logistics or equivalent, at least 1 year of related experience, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year working experience in similar capacity.
• Excellent people and communication skills.
• Computer literate with ability to access systems and generate reports.
• Experience with MS Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Planning and implementation skills focusing on operational requirements and bottleneck reductions.
• Strong organizational skills to determine manning levels and shift requirements.
• Understanding of inventory control processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take action on inventory issues reported by Storekeeper (e.g., ad-hoc physical counts, document checks, liaising with relevant departments on system transactions).
• Check MHE status and raise job sheet for any MHE down.
• Ensure in-house safety and security rules are adhered to by all staff.
• Plan manpower allocation based on daily order status (minimum twice per day).
• Report any disciplinary issues to head of department.
• ODT, CO to CN reports are updated and shared to stakeholders.

About The Role

What You Will Deliver

• Assist HOD to run daily operations
• Monitor DO – Inv performance
• Take action on inventory issues reported by Storekeeper (ie conduct ad-hoc physical count, check documentation, liaison with relevant department on system transaction checking)
• Check MHE Status and raise job sheet for any MHE down
• Ensure In-house Safety and security rules are adhered by all staff
• Plan for manpower allocation based on daily order status (minimum twice per day)
• Report any disciplinary issues to head of department
• OTD , CO to CN reports are update and share to stakeholder

What You Bring

• Diploma in Logistics or its equivalent.
• At least 1 year working experience in similar capacity.
• Excellent people and communication skills.
• Computer literate, with the capability to use systems for information access and report functions.
• Experienced in MS Office applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
• Planning and implementation skills with emphasis on operational requirements and reductions of known bottlenecks.
• Organization skills to determine manning levels for functions and shift requirements.
• Comprehension of inventory control processes and procedures.
• All stocks movement must have valid system process document such as Transfer Order( TO), Picking Confirmation List (PCL ) ,Radio Frequency Device ( RF), Goods Receive Invoice Receipt ( GRIR ), or excel sheet process by inventory management team only.
