Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Corporate Communications Executive to lead external engagement efforts, strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals, and support brand visibility.

You will plan and execute GP engagement activities, collaborate with pharma partners, manage events, and ensure compliance with regulations, reporting insights to guide strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with General Practitioners (GPs) to support referrals and collaborative care.
  • Conduct regular GP visits to understand their needs, share hospital updates, and reinforce long-term partnerships.
  • Segment GPs and develop targeted engagement strategies based on their specialties, practice needs, and potential.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute GP-focused engagement activities such as GP symposiums, CME talks, workshops, and public outreach events.
  • Oversee full event operations including programme planning, speakers, logistics coordination, and post-event follow-up.
  • Monitor event performance and GP participation to refine and strengthen future engagement plans.
  • Work closely with pharmaceutical companies to develop joint activities, secure sponsorships, and implement educational initiatives that support GP engagement.
  • Expand the hospital’s external network to maximise collaboration opportunities.
  • Ensure all engagement activities comply with healthcare regulations, industry guidelines, and hospital policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation, communications, and required approvals relating to GP and pharma collaborations.
  • Provide timely feedback and insights from GPs to help shape the hospital’s strategic engagement direction.
