Job summary

LUV SWEETTOOTH ENTERPRISE in Penang seeks a proactive Sales and Business Development professional with a strong background in marketing, branding, and events. You will conduct cold calls, pursue new clients, manage relationships, and present persuasive proposals for corporate and private events.

You will coordinate with internal teams for event planning, oversee logistics, and ensure on-time delivery within budget, while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Background in marketing, events, or business is an advantage.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in events.
• Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development: cold calling, follow-up, identify events market opportunities, build client relationships.
• Client Management: main contact for clients, ensure needs are met, deliver excellent service.
• Event Planning & Coordination: coordinate decoration, catering, AV, and venue setup with internal teams.
• Administrative & Reporting: maintain sales records, prepare quotations, invoices, and reports.

Required skills: Marketing Strategy, Branding, Market Research, Customer Relationship Management

Proven experience in active sales, preferably in the event industry

Background in Marketing, Event Management, or Business is an advantage

Comfortable making outbound calls and meeting clients in person

Strong verbal communication and persuasive skills

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Self-motivated, initiative and a strong client-first mindset

Fluent in Mandarin and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Willing to travel and work on weekends (if needed for events)

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Conduct cold calling and follow-up calls to reach potential clients

Actively seek new business opportunities in both corporate and private event markets

Build and maintain strong client relationships

Prepare and present persuasive sales presentations and proposals

Conduct market research to identify trends and growth opportunities

Client Management

Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met

Provide excellent customer service throughout the event planning and execution process

Provide professional and responsive service to ensure customer satisfaction

Event Planning & Coordination

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth event planning and execution

Oversee event decoration process, including venue setup, catering, audio visual and other services

Ensure timely delivery of events within budget and align with client needs

Administrative & Reporting

Maintain accurate sales records, client information and event details

Prepare quotation, sales invoices and reports for management

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
