CKD Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks an ERP Engineer to support, maintain and improve the Company’s ERP system and related business applications in a manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot issues, coordinate with vendors and assist in enhancements and process improvements.
The role demands hands-on ERP support with strong knowledge of SAP/ERP processes, UAT, data integrity and user training across Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Planning, Finance and Supply Chain.
The ERP Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving the Company’s ERP system and related business applications.
The role requires hands-on experience in ERP system support within a business or manufacturing environment, with the ability to troubleshoot system issues, support users, coordinate with vendors and assist in system enhancement and process improvement activities.
Provide daily functional and technical support for the Company’s ERP system.
Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and coordinate corrective action with users, internal IT and external vendors.
Support ERP modules related:
Analyse user requirements and translate operational needs into suitable ERP system solutions.
Support system configuration, enhancement, testing and implementation activities.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes and improvements.
Monitor system performance, data accuracy and transaction integrity.
Support ERP master data maintenance and ensure proper system controls.
Prepare and maintain ERP documentation, SOPs, user guides and process flow.
Support system integration between ERP and other internal or external applications.
Assist in report generation, data extraction and system-related analysis.
Coordinate with ERP vendors and consultants on system issues, upgrades and enhancement projects.
Provide user training and guidance on ERP system usage.
Support continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives involving ERP systems.
Ensure ERP-related activities comply with Company IT policies, access controls and data security requirements.
Perform any other ERP / system-related duties as assigned by Management.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in ERP system support, implementation or application support is required.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
Good understanding of ERP-related business processes such as:
Hands-on experience in ERP troubleshooting, user support, system enhancement and UAT.
Good knowledge of SQL, database concepts, reporting tools or system integration will be an advantage.
Able to analyse system issues and provide practical solutions.
Good communication and coordination skills with users from different departments.
Able to work independently and manage multiple system-related tasks.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Experience or working knowledge of QAD ERP system will be a strong advantage.
