Private Advertiser is seeking an ERP Application Executive in Malaysia to support and enhance the company’s ERP, TMS, and in-house apps. You will collaborate with users and external vendors to resolve issues, drive digitalization, and implement integrations and automation across departments.
Responsibilities include planning and rollout of ERP modules, gathering business requirements, and maintaining documentation and reports. Mandarin proficiency is a plus to engage with the China HQ.
The ERP Application Executive supports the implementation, enhancement, maintenance and day-to-day operation of the company’s ERP, Transportation Management System (TMS), in-house applications and related reports. The role works closely with users across departments and external system vendors to resolve issues, improve business processes, deliver integrations and automation, and advance the company’s digitalisation initiatives.
Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for ERP, TMS and in-house applications, including troubleshooting system issues and user enquiries.
Support the planning, implementation, testing and rollout of new ERP modules, system enhancements and revisions to existing modules.
Gather and analyse business requirements, translate operational needs into clear system requirements, and coordinate solutions with system vendors.
Work with internal departments to review workflows, identify improvement opportunities and promote the effective adoption of new technologies and digital processes.
Plan and implement system automation initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy and process control.
Design, develop, test and implement integrations between ERP and other business applications.
Maintain system reports and support the development or enhancement of operational and management reporting.
Prepare and maintain system documentation, process guides, user manuals and change records.
Develop training materials, conduct end-user training and provide post-implementation support.
Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to track issues, changes and project deliverables through to completion.
Comply with company policies and support applicable safety, health, environmental and hygiene requirements in assigned work areas.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
Basic understanding of databases, enterprise applications, system integration or programming concepts.
Strong interest in ERP systems, manufacturing operations and warehouse or logistics processes.
Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users, colleagues and external vendors.
Able to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good teamwork, organisation and follow-through.
Exposure to ERP, TMS, manufacturing, warehouse management or other business applications.
Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, APIs, workflow automation or application integration.
Experience supporting system implementation, user acceptance testing, documentation or end-user training.
Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese is an added advantage, as the role requires close communication with the company’s headquarters in China.
