Job summary

VISCO TECHNOLOGY Sdn Bhd is seeking a maintenance-oriented individual to monitor and maintain production machines and equipment in a high-precision manufacturing environment. The role covers preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure consistent output quality.

The successful candidate will support process teams, assist with new machine setups, and help maintain spare parts availability while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome
• 1 year of working experience in engineering, process, or manufacturing is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the capability and efficiency of production machines and equipment
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on production machines and equipment according to the established schedule
• Troubleshoot machine issues and malfunctions, and provide emergency repairs when necessary
• Detect and identify faulty or defective machine parts that require repair or replacement
• Support process and production teams in troubleshooting machines and improving product yield and quality
• Follow up on new machine setups and trial runs
• Monitor safety stock levels and ensure the availability of machine spare parts at all times
• Ensure all maintenance records and checklists are accurate and complete
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area for machine and equipment maintenance

Job description

Monitor and maintain the capability and efficiency of production machines and equipment

Perform regular preventive maintenance on production machines and equipment according to the established schedule

Troubleshoot machine issues and malfunctions, and provide emergency repairs when necessary

Requirements :

Fresh graduates are welcome; 1 year of working experience in engineering, process, or manufacturing is an advantage

Willing to work shifts, support overtime, and work on weekends

Able to work independently and possess good problem-solving skills

Visco Technology Sdn. Bhd. is a foreign-owned company involved in the production of bio-medical and optical products, as well as the materials used in the manufacturing of lenses. With this expansion, the company will be producing medical lenses – the first of its kind in Malaysia. These lenses will be used to correct farsightedness and astigmatism, and also as an alternative to laser surgery.

The approved project will focus on advanced R&D activities into new material development, lens-production technology, and biological safety. In fact, the company plans to establish an R&D facility in Malaysia to support the main research activities undertaken in Taiwan. A total of 147 additional positions are offered to those with a science and technical background. This export oriented project will contribute to the country’s export earnings as more than 90% of our products will be for the Taiwan, UK and China markets.
