Job summary

Visco Technology Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for a Process Technician/Junior Process Technician to support process engineers in improving quality and yield while maintaining equipment and processes.

You will document manufacturing steps, monitor parameters, and assist with new process setups. The role demands proactive problem solving and willingness to work shifts and overtime. Fresh graduates are welcome; 1 year in engineering or manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Process Engineer in improving production quality, yield and output
• Assist Process Engineer in implementing process control and monitoring techniques
• Execute and complete tasks as planned by the Process Engineer
• Provide technical support to the production team
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and perform regular inspection and maintenance
• Support engineers in new process setups and related studies
• Gather process data and report to the Process Engineer
• Identify and troubleshoot deviations and take corrective actions

PROCESS TECHNICIAN / JUNIOR PROCESS TECHNICIAN

Support Process Engineer in improving production quality, yield, and output

Assist Process Engineer in implementing process control and monitoring techniques

Execute and complete tasks as planned by the Process Engineer

Provide technical support to the production team

Maintain equipment in good working condition, including regular inspection, cleaning, servicing, and maintenance

Support engineers in new process setups and conduct related studies

Responsible for gathering process data and reporting it to the Process Engineer

Understand the process in detail and be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting deviations, and taking appropriate corrective actions

Assist the Process Engineer in maintaining a highly optimized process

Document routine manufacturing processes

Ensure strict adherence to process parameters and close compliance with internal SOPs

Requirements

Fresh graduates are welcome; 1 year of working experience in engineering, process, or manufacturing is an advantage

Willing to work shifts, support overtime, and work on weekends

Able to work independently and possess good problem-solving skills

Visco Technology Sdn. Bhd. is a foreign-owned company involved in the production of bio-medical and optical products, as well as the materials used in the manufacturing of lenses. With this expansion, the company will be producing medical lenses – the first of its kind in Malaysia. These lenses will be used to correct farsightedness and astigmatism, and also as an alternative to laser surgery.

The approved project will focus on advanced R&D activities into new material development, lens-production technology, and biological safety. In fact, the company plans to establish an R&D facility in Malaysia to support the main research activities undertaken in Taiwan. A total of 147 additional positions are offered to those with a science and technical background. This export oriented project will contribute to the country’s export earnings as more than 90% of our products will be for the Taiwan, UK and China markets.
