Job summary

Visco Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a capable engineer/designer to coordinate with sales, liaise across departments, and develop documentation for packaging material design. You will check artwork, prepare BOMs, and study new materials while supporting packing operations.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in engineering/science/design, with preferably 1 year manufacturing experience, and Mandarin language skills are a plus. Independent work and occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering/science/art/design fields.
• Preferably 1 year manufacturing work experience.
• Knowledge of technical problem solving methods or tools.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements:

At least Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ Science/ Arts & Design

Preferably with at least 1 year manufacturing work experience

Have knowledge in technical, problem solving method or tools and interaction.

Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.

Have supervision and communication skills

Able to work under pressure, dynamic and fast pace

Able to work independent with minimum supervision

Having own transportation and accommodation

Able to support for overtime work when required

With this expansion, the company will be producing medical lenses – the first of its kind in Malaysia. These lenses will be used to correct farsightedness and astigmatism, and also as an alternative to laser surgery.

The approved project will focus on advanced R&D activities into new material development, lens-production technology, and biological safety. In fact, the company plans to establish an R&D facility in Malaysia to support the main research activities undertaken in Taiwan. A total of 147 additional positions are offered to those with a science and technical background. This export oriented project will contribute to the country’s export earnings as more than 90% of our products will be for the Taiwan, UK and China markets.
