Responsibilities

Job Overview The Enterprise UC & AV Project Specialist serves as the primary technical and operational liaison between IT department, business units, and Real Estate Project teams.

About the Role

This role is responsible for driving Unified Communications (UC) deployments, from requirements gathering and planning through physical installation, system configuration, UAT approval, and operational handover.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for gathering and defining UC and infrastructure requirements in collaboration with local Business Units and Real Estate project teams.
• Accountable for comprehensive installation planning for all UC equipment and related infrastructure across project sites.
• Stay informed on global UC design and standards to ensure alignment with corporate framework.
• Responsible for conducting technical reviews of Bill of Materials (BOM) and vendor quotes to ensure accuracy, cost-efficiency, and alignment with site requirements.
• Accountable for overseeing and driving the physical installation of UC infrastructure and AV setup on-site.
• Accountable for configuring Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and VoIP phone systems.
• Responsible for technical configuration of Digital Signage systems, AudioCodes Session Border Controllers (SBC), and enterprise wireless presentation/media streaming servers.
• Accountable for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and formal approval.
• Accountable for seamless handover to the Operations team upon Go-Live completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Unified Communications (UC), enterprise voice, or AV/IT infrastructure deployment within global corporate environments.
• Proven experience managing multi-site IT/UC infrastructure rollouts in partnership with Real Estate, Construction, or Facilities teams.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), IP desk phones, and related collaboration hardware.
• Expertise in deploying and configuring AudioCodes Session Border Controllers (SBC) and enterprise voice solutions.
• Experience configuring Digital Signage platforms and enterprise streaming/casting servers.
• Ability to read and validate BOMs, vendor technical proposals, and hardware quotes.
• Proven track record interfacing with Real Estate, Facilities, Business Unit stakeholders, and Operations teams.
• Ability to manage deployments end-to-end with high accountability for site Go-Live milestones.
• Deep knowledge of UAT methodologies and operational handover processes.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Teams Voice Engineer Associate, Avixia CTS/CTS-D/CTS-I, or AudioCodes Associate/Professional.
• Strong familiarity with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS) and network protocols (SIP, H.323, Dante, QoS).
• Experience with cloud-based management portals (Microsoft Teams Admin Center, AudioCodes One Voice Operations Center).
• Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and cross-functional project coordination skills.
