Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Business Development Executive – Security in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive enterprise cybersecurity sales for Microsoft Security solutions, identifying customer needs and coordinating with internal architects and Microsoft partners to close valuable opportunities.

You will engage with enterprise clients, translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes, and work with cross‑functional teams to co‑develop and deliver end‑to‑end Microsoft security

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise technology sales, preferably in cybersecurity or cloud security domains.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft’s Security stack, including Zero Trust architecture.
• Experience with cybersecurity, compliance, and/or risk management transformation.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
• Experience working with Microsoft field teams or partner ecosystem is a plus.
• Commitment to inclusive, collaborative teamwork and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales lifecycle — from lead generation to deal closure — focusing on Security opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Solution Architects, and Microsoft teams to co-sell and co-develop customer engagement strategies.
• Promote and position Microsoft Security solutions, including Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud, Office 365), Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), Microsoft Purview (Compliance & Data Governance), and Microsoft Entra ID (Identity & Access Management).
• Partner with Pre-Sales Architects and Delivery Teams to develop proposals, solution designs, and pricing.
• Drive joint go-to-market activities with Microsoft, including customer workshops, events, and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with other SoftwareOne business units (Cloud, Data & AI, Modern Work) to deliver end-to-end Microsoft solutions.
