SUPER MICRO COMPUTER MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks a Lead/Engineering Manager to drive production engineering for AI, server, and data center products. You will design processes, layouts, and equipment for new lines, and push continuous improvement across high‑mix, high‑volume production.
You will collaborate with R&D, NPI, and Quality, manage ECOs, and mentor staff to uphold quality and process standards.
Lead production engineering for AI, server, and data center products by driving manufacturing process development, new production line implementation, automation, NPI, and continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence and product quality.
What will be your task:
To leads process design, workstation layout, and equipment setup for new production lines at Supermicro Malaysia.
To evaluates and improves production efficiency, ergonomics, and automation, while creating and maintaining work instructions, SOPs, and technical documentation.
To collaborates with R&D, NPI, and Quality teams for pilot runs and process validation, implements engineering change controls (ECO), and oversees tooling and fixture development.
Expertise in analyzing, developing, and improving manufacturing processes for high-mix, high-volume production.
Ability to identify production issues, implement corrective actions, and enhance yield and product quality.
To responsible for training production staff on technical knowledge and ensuring compliance with established processes.
What can helped you succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is preferred. A Master’s degree or equivalent advanced qualification will be considered an added advantage.
Experience in production or process engineering is preferred, with around 7 years of relevant industry experience. Exposure to leadership, coaching, or managing engineering teams is considered an added advantage.
Experience or familiarity with server, PCBA, electronic system assembly, or related manufacturing processes is preferred, with practical knowledge considered an advantage to the candidate.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DFx, or similar frameworks, is preferred and considered beneficial for this role.
Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are preferred, with the ability to lead engineering teams, coordinate projects, and support continuous process improvement initiatives considered an added advantage.
