Job summary

Supermicro Malaysia is seeking a results-oriented Production Manager to lead daily server manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets are met while driving Lean improvements.

The role collaborates with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning to support business objectives and customer commitments in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in production management; server/electronics assembly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage production teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience driving Lean, 5S and continuous improvement to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Strong communication to execute HQ directives while managing local operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily server manufacturing operations ensuring targets for quality, cost, and delivery.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning to support Supermicro's objectives.
• Plan, direct, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure targets are consistently achieved.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and data-driven decisions.

What will be your task:

Manage and supervise daily assembly operations of Data Center Server, Blade, Data Storage, AI System

Works closely with functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning to support Supermicro's business objectives and customer commitments.

Responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing daily manufacturing operations at Supermicro Malaysia to ensure production targets for quality, cost, delivery, and safety are consistently achieved.

Managing production teams, optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Proficient in production KPIs, reporting, and ERP/MES systems to support data-driven decision-making.

Hands-on experience driving Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

What can helped you succeed:
