Job summary

SUPER MICRO COMPUTER MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks a Lead/Engineering Manager to drive production engineering for AI, server, and data center products. You will design processes, layouts, and equipment for new lines, and push continuous improvement across high‑mix, high‑volume production.

You will collaborate with R&D, NPI, and Quality, manage ECOs, and mentor staff to uphold quality and process standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
Master’s degree or equivalent advanced qualification is an added advantage.
Experience in production or process engineering with around 7 years in industry.
Experience or familiarity with server, PCBA, electronic system assembly or related processes preferred.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DFx or similar frameworks is beneficial.
Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to lead engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Lead process design, workstation layout, and equipment setup for new production lines.
Evaluate and improve production efficiency, ergonomics, and automation; maintain SOPs and technical docs.
Collaborate with R&D, NPI, and Quality for pilot runs and process validation; implement ECO; oversee tooling/fixtures.
Develop expertise to improve manufacturing processes for high-mix, high-volume production.
Identify production issues, implement corrective actions, and enhance yield and product quality.
Train production staff on technical knowledge and ensure compliance with processes.
