Job summary

Super Micro Computer Malaysia is seeking a testing leader to drive system, burn-in and functional tests for AI, server, and data center products. You will develop testing procedures, automate validation, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Production to ensure high-quality, reliable manufacturing outcomes.

The role requires around 5 years in system/server testing with leadership exposure, plus familiarity with validation methodologies and CI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
• Experience in system, server, or product testing with around 5 years of relevant experience and leadership exposure is valuable.
• Familiarity with hardware and software validation methodologies, including burn-in, stress testing, or other product verification processes, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing team to perform system, burn-in, and functional tests ensuring quality and reliability.
• Develop and optimize testing procedures, automation systems, and validation processes; coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Production.
• Monitor yield rates, analyze failure data, drive continuous improvement, maintain testing equipment with calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare test reports and provide feedback for product design enhancements.

Job description

Lead production testing operations for AI, server, and data center products by driving test strategy, automation, yield improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality, reliable products and manufacturing excellence.

What will be your task:

To leads and manages the testing team to perform system, burn-in, and functional tests, ensuring products meet quality and reliability standards.

To develops and optimizes testing procedures, automation systems, and validation processes, while coordinating with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve test-related issues.

To monitors yield rates, analyzes failure data, drives continuous improvement, maintains testing equipment with proper calibration and preventive maintenance.

Expertise in developing, managing, and executing production test plans for electronics/server products.

Skilled in improving test processes, methodologies, and efficiency through Lean or continuous improvement practices.

Prepare test reports and provide feedback for product design enhancement.

What can helped you succeed:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred. Candidates with equivalent qualifications and relevant experience in testing, manufacturing, or product engineering environments may also be considered.

Experience in system, server, or product testing is preferred, with around 5 years of relevant experience and exposure to leadership or people management responsibilities considered an added value.

Familiarity with hardware and software validation methodologies, including burn-in, stress testing, or other product verification processes, is preferred and will be considered an added value.

Experience or familiarity with AI, GPU, data center server, or related enterprise computing platforms is preferred and considered an added advantage.

Good leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze test results, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product quality and continuous improvement, are desirable.
