This role involves continuous improvement and management of maintenance systems, procurement of spare parts, and coordination of maintenance activities across production, sanitation, and facilities. You will manage work orders, participate in compliance walks, follow up on audit gaps, prepare reports and KPI dashboards, manage special projects, oversee contractor management tasks, and lead maintenance department administrative functions.
Key responsibilities
- Continuous improvement of the maintenance system (MEX) data, including asset registration, accuracy of work order tasks, works frequency, labour hours, PM policy update, MEX Request, parts and consumables
- Procure spare parts for maintenance activities in accordance with available budget, including developing inventory control and reordering capability in the maintenance system MEX and physical management of the inventory
- Participate in GMP walks and scheduling works in accordance with production, sanitation, facilities and project team activities, updating i-Leader compliance status
- Follow up on audit gaps (internal and external) and prepare detailed work orders, including scoping of requirements, for all planned activities including corrective work
- Prepare reports and update KPI dashboards against defined department targets based on weekly and monthly routines
- Manage special projects of works utilizing internal and external resources, starting from CER submission, scope detailing and reporting weekly tracking of Capex purchases
- Participate in Contractor Management tasks from Safety Induction, Permit to Work and Work Permit Issuance for High Risk activities
- Lead Maintenance Department Administrative tasks and Document controls/filings with online server backup including Weekly Duty Roster preparations, PR/PO requisitions, Workshop 5S
About you
- Minimum trade qualified, preferably mechanical or dual mechanical electrical trade, or tertiary engineering qualification
- 1+ years experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment
- Strong safety focus and commitment to comply with company safety systems
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
- Good communication skills including verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated problem solving ability and mechanical aptitude
- Relevant IT skills in MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Proven team player and able to work well in the maintenance team as well as the wider organization
- Meeting management skills and time management skills
