Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric in Johor, Kulai invites applications for a supervisory role in the PCB manufacturing environment. The candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or Manufacturing Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include leading a production group, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electronics, mechatronics, manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in PCB manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Experience in preparing, reviewing and verifying various reports.
• Knowledgeable in problem solving, root cause analysis and diagnosing faults.
• Knowledge of new product introduction, project follow-up and leading a team.
• Proactive in identifying improvement areas and driving improvements to meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement an effective problems feedback system.
• Supervise subordinates and drive the group toward targets.
• Evaluate rejects, implement corrective actions, and follow up.
• Reduce rejection rate by coordinating with production and supporting groups.
• Check and approve daily, weekly and monthly analysis reports.
• Provide technical assistance to production personnel.
• Ensure no deviation from engineering specs or part lists without approval.
• Determine best processes for distribution and procedures to achieve quality and quantity.
• Generate PIM and follow up on implementation.
• Participate in Pilot Run activities and ensure ISO9001 & IS014001 compliance within scope.
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

• To determine the best process in term of process distribution and work procedure for production activities in achieving production quality and quantity.
• To generate PIM when required and follow up on the implementation so that it is being followed accordingly.
• To participate effectively in Pilot Run activities and ensure ISO9001 & IS014001 compliance within their work scope.
• To comply to any additional responsibilities as and when assigned by his superior.
