Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and optimize PCBA/SMT lines, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.

You will design production layouts, balance lines, analyze cycles and material flow, and collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvements. You will monitor production data to identify efficiency gains and support lean initiatives and line launches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize PCBA/SMT lines to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
• Design and implement efficient production layouts and workflows to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Analyze and improve line balancing, production cycles, and material flow for smooth operations.
• Perform lead time analysis, motion studies, and capacity planning to identify improvement opportunities and maximize equipment utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—production, engineering, and quality—to drive continuous process improvements.
• Monitor and analyze production data to provide insights for throughput, yield, and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and lean manufacturing initiatives while supporting audits.
• Assist with setup and launch of production lines in the facility, coordinating with equipment and production teams.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.
